About the artist

Hi there

I am an Australian artist based in Canberra, where I have lived with my family for the past 20 years.

A lifelong love of all things blue and a chance encounter with cyanotypes collided one day and a new obsession was born. The technique is easy to learn and crazy hard to master, but I am driven by the challenge of capturing blue moments in time, working in partnership with nature.

The sun and our garden are always centre stage in my creative endeavours. My artwork is created in my home studio and garden. Most of my prints involve fresh plants from the garden or found on neighbourhood walks.

My artwork has been included in several Australian group exhibitions, including 'Sanctuary' and 'Into the Blue IV' at Sutton Village Gallery, 'Life in colour' and 'Presence' at Tyger Gallery, the Taralga Art Show, Boorowa Art Show and the Belco Arts 'Dear earth' exhibition.

My artwork has also been featured in the Anna Atkins Tribute Journal 2024 and Alternative Photography's Art & Artists, Edition 2, 2025.

Thanks so much for visiting my little store. I hope you see something you like. You can get in touch via the contact form or via my Instagram account at Big Blue House.
