This was then exposed to sunlight before being washed to reveal the final image.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eCyanotypes are archival, meaning they will last for a really long time, but best displayed out of direct sunlight. If they do begin to fade over the years, you can place them in the dark for a week or two and, like magic, they will regain their full colour.
