It is mounted and framed in an A1 white timber frame (60 x 84 cm) ready to hang. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was made by arranging layers of silver birch between glass sheets on top of paper coated with a photosensitive emulsion. This was then exposed to sunlight before being washed to reveal the final image.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eCyanotypes are archival and can last for more than a century, but are best displayed out of direct, strong sunlight. If they do begin to fade ove\u003cimg\u003er the years, you can place them in the dark for a week or two and, like magic, they will regain their full colour.
